Top SchoolAli Elmas is a Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience building systems from game engines to networked test applications, currently at Pinterest after a multi-year tenure at Microsoft. Trained as an electrical and electronics engineer, he brings low-level protocol knowledge (raw Ethernet, UDP/TCP) from embedded and test roles at Aselsan and Roketsan into scalable software practices. His freelance work includes Unity/C# game development and OpenCV-based image processing apps, reflecting a practical blend of real-time graphics and computer vision. Comfortable across C#, Unity, and large-scale engineering environments, he has a knack for turning hardware-proximal problems into polished software solutions. Based in Istanbul with professional ties to Ireland, he combines systems thinking with a game developer’s creativity, often applying gameplay-minded iteration to product engineering.
