Top SchoolAli Javadi is a Site Reliability Engineer based in Amsterdam with 18+ years across distributed systems, high-performance computing, networking and SRE, currently supporting production reliability at Booking.com. He has led dramatic capacity and user-growth projects as CTO and SRE manager at Telewebion, architecting a video CDN delivering 600+ Gbps and scaling delivery capacity and users by multiples while building low-latency monitoring for 500k+ concurrent viewers. His hands-on background spans bare-metal Kubernetes, Ceph, DPDK, Elixir and Go, plus algorithmic C++ work for constrained domains like Tehran's public-transport navigation. Trained in mathematics at Shahid Beheshti University, he blends rigorous analytical thinking with pragmatic engineering—often tackling performance-critical and low-level problems such as virtualization networking and binary-level debugging. Known for shipping infrastructure automation and bespoke tooling, he favors solving hard operational puzzles that sit between networking, systems and software.
