Senior🎓
Top SchoolAli Muzaffar is a seasoned engineering leader and founder with 14 years of hands-on software experience and a 19-year career footprint working across Australia, the US, Europe and Asia. A BCG alumnus who led mobile strategy for multi-billion-dollar companies, he has scaled engineering organizations through hypergrowth—most notably as sole Engineering Manager at Sonder during a tenfold valuation jump and later as Director of Engineering at Bykea where he engineered product launches that drove massive user growth while halving infrastructure costs. He combines deep full‑stack technical skills (Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, React/Vue, serverless on AWS) with recruitment, ISO27001-compliant processes, and measurable product outcomes like faster PWAs and increased basket value. An active open-source maintainer and top 5% StackOverflow contributor, Ali publishes technical writing and developer talks that emphasize accessibility and developer best practice. He runs Alpha Mu Digital to modernize offshore team models, blending consultancy rigor with pragmatic delivery for startups and scaleups. Beyond headline metrics, Ali’s uncommon strength is pairing product-focused experimentation with engineering discipline to reduce churn and accelerate time-to-market.
