Top SchoolAliaksandr Shulyak is a senior software engineering leader and site reliability expert with nine years of experience building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure for Fortune-tier clients and high-growth startups. Currently a Senior Software Engineering Team Lead at Bloomberg, he has driven platform stability and reliability across portfolios exceeding $15M in contract value, achieving >95% client satisfaction and >80% retention. He combines hands-on SRE/DevOps execution—Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and AWS migrations—with a talent for process improvements that have cut costs, reduced risk, and accelerated developer throughput. Known as a dynamic team builder and cross-functional collaborator, he has repeatedly transitioned teams to managed cloud platforms and implemented automated security and audit processes that unlocked new contracts. Not obviously, his background includes deep hands-on networking and virtualization work (Mikrotik/Juniper, oVirt/Hyper-V) from early roles, giving him unusually broad operational expertise across both cloud and on-prem systems. Based in New York, he focuses on measurable reliability outcomes and continuous personal and team development.
