Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlican Akkuş is a pragmatic Software Crafter with 12 years of experience building payment and fintech systems from Istanbul, combining deep JVM expertise (Java, Kotlin, Groovy) with Agile/Lean practices and a love for pair programming and egoless collaboration. Currently at Craftgate after roles at Craftbase and iyzico, he focuses on reliable, maintainable systems and enjoys pushing teams to the extra mile while mentoring through listening and shared ownership. An active blogger and knowledge sharer (alicanakkus.com, GitBook and GitHub resume), he blends hands-on engineering with community-facing writing that demystifies complex topics like blockchain and payments. Notably, he pairs technical craft with human-centered practices—pairing, feedback, and çay-fueled persistence—to turn ambiguous problems into pragmatic solutions.
