Top SchoolAlice Chen is a Staff Product Designer with nine years of experience crafting commerce, lending, and identity experiences at Cash App and earlier growth-focused roles at Earnin and Udacity. She pairs systems and design thinking with hands-on visual and interaction design to simplify complex product challenges and align user needs with business outcomes. Comfortable shifting between high-level product strategy and pixel-level execution, she drives rapid prototyping, user research, and scalable design systems using tools like Figma and Sketch. Based in San Jose, she also mentors through On Deck’s founding design fellowship, reflecting a commitment to community and continuous learning. Outside of work she channels the same meticulous creativity into self-taught textile fiber art—an unusual craft that mirrors her appetite for order, texture, and iterative making.
