Top SchoolAlice W is a freelance web developer based in New York with over a decade of experience crafting semantically rich HTML, cross-browser CSS, and unobtrusive JavaScript for clients including Scholastic and Random House. She combines a strong commitment to web standards and accessibility with practical familiarity across modern tooling—Sass, Git, Gulp, Docker, and Rails—making her comfortable in both design-forward and production workflows. Her background as an interface developer at an agency sharpened her ability to translate visual designs into polished, responsive interfaces while collaborating closely with creative teams. Comfortable on Mac, Windows, and Linux, she brings a pragmatic blend of front-end craftsmanship and basic networking know-how that helps troubleshoot real-world deployment issues. Known for clean, maintainable markup and an eye for semantic structure, she often pairs technical rigor with subtle UX improvements that aren’t immediately obvious in finished pages.
