Summary
👤
SeniorAlif Rochman is a Senior Software Engineer based in Sunnyvale with 12 years of hands-on experience building backend, infrastructure, and system-level services at scale, currently at Google. He has a strong track record of designing and migrating cloud-native systems, refactoring monoliths into Go microservices, and shipping high-throughput payment, notification, and deployment platforms. His background blends large-cloud experience (AWS→GCP migrations, Kubernetes) with pragmatic engineering—evident from a three-minute in-house deployment system and performance gains like a 300% OCR pipeline speedup. A competitive programmer and hackathon champion with national Olympiad and ACM-ICPC honors, he pairs algorithmic rigor with production engineering. Fluent across Scala, Go, Python, Node.js, and React, he brings both deep systems thinking and an eye for operational reliability to complex distributed systems.
