Summary
👤
SeniorAline Souza is a Software Engineering Manager with nearly a decade of experience delivering mobile-first products, currently leading roadmap definition, prioritization and strategic hiring at iFood in São Paulo. She progressed from Senior Android Developer and Tech Lead roles to manage multidisciplinary teams, combining deep hands-on Kotlin/Jetpack expertise, test-first practices, and clean architecture with stakeholder alignment. Her background spans full-stack and backend work (PHP, C#, Java, SQL) and she has taught Android fundamentals and testing, underscoring a talent for mentoring and knowledge transfer. With a Master’s in Software Engineering and recent specialization in Software Architecture and Team Leadership, she blends technical rigor with people-first leadership to scale high-performing engineering teams. An interesting quirk: beyond mobile, she pairs backend experience from early roles with a persistent focus on testability and reusable code that informs her managerial decisions.
