Top SchoolAlireza Rafiei is a Director of Cryptography Engineering based in London with 11 years of software engineering experience and a BA in Mathematics. He has led and bootstrapped key management and cryptography teams at multiple companies, architecting production MPC-based signing services and next-generation multi-chain MPC solutions for custody and wallets. Comfortable as a hands-on manager and individual contributor, he combines rigorous applied-cryptography R&D (private set intersection, group signatures) with security-first engineering practices like specification-driven development and property-based testing. He has driven audit processes that supported enterprise milestones, including an S-1, and has a track record of shipping auditable, resilient key-management systems at scale. Notably, he taught and designed blockchain coursework and reduced critical system latencies in earlier roles, reflecting both academic rigor and practical optimization instincts.
