Top SchoolAlisson Agiani is a seasoned back-end developer with 17 years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for open source dating back to modding Quake in 1997. He designs and ships scalable, high-availability systems using Node.js, Redis, PostgreSQL and cloud-native tooling, having built and run AIDAX, a solo-developed analytics platform, and led architecture work across fintech and data hubs. Comfortable moving between hands-on implementation and technical leadership, he has served as CTO, senior engineer and freelance founder, and revived community momentum around RethinkDB in 2018. Based in São Paulo, he blends deep systems knowledge with a curiosity for new tech—recent work includes an open-source GraphQL backend powered by RedisGraph—making him adept at solving performance and scalability challenges that matter to businesses.
