Top SchoolAlix Ducros is a Frontend Engineer and UX-focused researcher with 11 years of experience, currently leading frontend development at Hormur and rebuilding a major financial web product at AlphaValue. He combines hands-on expertise in modern web stacks (Nuxt 4, TypeScript, PWA, SSR) with practical UX research—conducting semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis—to translate user insights into features like Mapbox/Leaflet maps, Stripe payments, and instant messaging for platforms with >10,000 users. A PhD in Human–Machine Interaction informs his design-led approach to public and interactive displays, bringing participatory design methods into product development. He’s comfortable bridging research and production: shipping Play Store apps and scalable frontends while iterating on information architecture and mobile-first UX. Based in Brioude, France, Alix has a track record of turning academic prototypes into commercial MVPs and improving discoverability and engagement through thoughtful interaction design.
