Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAllan Msc is a mathematically driven educator and quantitative analyst with over a decade of experience modeling complex physical systems and implementing numerical solutions across multiple languages. With a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and hands-on research from particle simulations to high-frequency FX analysis, he blends rigorous theory with practical data engineering. He has applied these skills professionally as a mathematics and physics teacher while interning at a proprietary trading firm where he built libraries to process high-volume market data and tested trading scenarios. Allan is particularly interested in refining financial models and translating variational and differential-equation techniques into tools for understanding market microstructure. Based in Taipei, he brings a rare mix of academic depth, coding fluency, and classroom communication that helps make complex quantitative ideas accessible. Colleagues value that he pairs theoretical insight with pragmatic implementation—often surfacing subtle model assumptions that improve real-world performance.
