Top SchoolAllen Calderwood is a serial founder and engineering leader with 11 years of experience building high-impact consumer and fintech products, currently serving as Co-Founder & CTO of Hadrius where he’s building an LLM-powered "Financial Compliance Copilot" for SEC/FINRA use cases. He previously co-founded and exited Quantbase, an SEC/FINRA-regulated investment firm, and has deep product and platform experience from senior engineering roles at Google (including leading the Google TV recommendations team and Android Phone app work) and Chime. Allen combines hands-on systems and ML-driven product engineering with domain expertise in regulated finance, translating messy firm data into auditable, automated workflows that save teams time. He’s pragmatic and iterative—“Hypothesize. Test. Learn. Repeat.”—and brings both startup grit and proven large-scale execution from teams of seven to hundreds. Based in New York, he pairs dual STEM degrees with Y Combinator founder experience, making him fluent at turning compliance pain points into production-ready AI software.
