Senior🎓
Top SchoolAllen Jiang is a Robotics Software Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience in embedded software, firmware, and FPGA development, now contributing to Optimus Autonomy Foundations at Tesla. He has moved between elite teams at Tesla and Google, tackling low-level autonomy and hardware reliability work such as Pixel brownout mitigation, HW4 bootloader, and Dojo node firmware. His background blends academic depth from UT Austin (MS/BS ECE) with practical R&D—building software, HDL, and firmware for novel farming tech and rocket avionics during internships. Comfortable across chip-to-system boundaries, he pairs embedded firmware expertise with systems-level thinking to harden autonomy platforms. Colleagues would note his unusually broad exposure to both production autonomy stacks and experimental hardware R&D, plus a dry sense of humor hinted at in his GitHub bio.
