Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAllison Shaw is a design leader with a decade-plus track record building and scaling design systems for major products at Adobe, Zendesk, Twitter, Thumbtack, and Yelp. She blends product design craft with engineering fluency—“meticulous with design, dangerous with code”—to create accessible, consistent systems that power both internal products and open-source communities. As a manager she prioritizes people, setting clear context and removing obstacles so diverse teams can deliver high-quality work. Her career includes founding living design systems long before the term was mainstream and teaching hands-on accessibility workshops. Based in San Francisco, she focuses on design systems that improve usability and measurably impact user outcomes.
