Top SchoolAllison Sheridan is a veteran technologist who transitioned from a 35-year aerospace engineering career into full-time tech podcasting, producing the long-running NosillaCast Mac Podcast since 2005. Based in El Segundo, she blends deep systems and engineering leadership experience from Raytheon—where she led engineering automation, social media initiatives, and internal podcasting—with an approachable public voice on consumer and cross-platform technology. Her work bridges hands-on technical operations (managing large sysadmin teams and CAD-supporting infrastructure) with communications innovation, having launched internal knowledge-transfer podcasting for a major defense contractor. A frequent live-show host and educator, she also co-produces Programming By Stealth, reflecting a knack for teaching complex topics accessibly. Known for an “ever so slight Macintosh bias,” she brings both rigor and curiosity to exploring freeware, open source tools, and practical gadgetry.
