Top SchoolAllyson Cauble-chantrenne is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience specializing in low-level tools and performance analysis for high-performance computing. She designed and leads development of an ARM-based binary instrumentation toolkit (EPAX) used to analyze runtime behavior of large-scale MPI and OpenMP scientific applications, and has contributed heavily to an x86 counterpart, PEBIL. Proficient in C/C++, assembly, x86 and ARM architectures, she focuses on inserting assembly into binaries to enable instruction-mix analysis, function profiling, and cache simulation. Based in Durham, NC, Allyson balances deep systems expertise with hands-on leadership—managing contributors and driving full lifecycle delivery from design through testing and documentation. An underappreciated strength is her sustained focus on portability across architectures, enabling consistent performance analysis workflows on both ARM and x86 platforms.
