Top SchoolAlon Ashkenazi is a VP of Engineering with 11 years of hands-on experience building and scaling security-focused cloud and large-data systems from startup to enterprise. He co-founded Cloudrail and led its R&D, shipping infrastructure-as-code and cloud-scanning solutions that integrate directly into CI/CD pipelines, and later led engineering and product teams at Indeni and DoubleVerify to deliver high-throughput, mission-critical services. Known for rapid, high-quality delivery, he combines strong people leadership—setting up an Israeli office and recruiting large teams—with deep technical chops across backend, JavaScript, CI/CD and cloud security. Based in New York with roots in Israel, he pairs an MBA and a CS degree with a track record of turning complex security and scale requirements into practical, developer-friendly tooling. An operator who still codes, he favors pragmatic automation that prevents outages and surfaces security issues early in the development lifecycle.
