Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlon Horev is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder with 15 years of experience taking complex storage and data products from concept to mass-market adoption. As Co-Founder and VP Technology at VAST, he leads multiple engineering tracks and strategic customer engagements while retaining hands-on engineering instincts from earlier roles at Cisco, Intucell and IBM XIV. He blends deep systems and backend expertise—distributed storage, databases, performance testing—with practical front-end work, having contributed UI and visualization improvements to the popular open-source Redash project. A self-taught computer scientist, Alon has repeatedly built production-grade systems (from carrier-grade software to universal storage platforms) and founded product-first startups like DigData. Known for translating hard technical problems into shipped products, he pairs entrepreneurial drive with an engineer’s attention to performance and user experience.
