Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlon Kashtan is a Web Architect with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical systems, currently shaping web architecture at MyHeritage. He combines deep technical breadth—Java, TypeScript, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Docker and OpenShift—with proven leadership from leading architect teams and guiding IDF-wide modernization efforts. His background includes designing high-performance, asynchronous distributed systems with strict latency and availability requirements, and migrating legacy enterprise systems to modern microservices and UX. Alon is comfortable both in code and in strategy, mentoring teams to adopt agile practices and architectural standards. Based in Israel, he pairs academic rigor from an MS in Computer Science with a pragmatic, creative approach to solving hard engineering problems. An often-overlooked strength is his track record of introducing new technologies (like WPF early in the Air Force) and driving cultural change alongside technical transformation.
