Senior🎓
Top SchoolAlonso Tagle is a data product builder and academic-practitioner with over a decade of experience turning raw data into operational value, currently serving as Deputy Director of Industry Partnerships at the Data Science Institute in Santiago. He bridges university research and industry needs by leading collaborative projects that deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions, while also teaching data product development and hands-on toolchains like FastAPI, Streamlit and OpenAI APIs. With a background in electrical engineering and early research in image processing and biometrics, he brings deep technical roots from C++/OpenCV systems to modern LLM-based products. Alonso combines consultancy and startup experience—founding IADevs and advising GeoVictoria—so he navigates both enterprise delivery and rapid prototyping. Known for gathering minds as much as building things, he focuses on pragmatic AI applications that produce measurable business outcomes.
