Top SchoolAlsayed Eltantawi is a Head of Software Engineering with 11 years of experience building cloud-native, AI-driven platforms and leading cross-functional engineering organisations. He co-founded and served as CTO at Camlist, where he combined hands-on development with cloud & DevOps leadership to deliver resilient, cost-optimised systems across GCP and Azure. At Cognitev he scaled teams and launched the first AI-powered MarTech and self-serve advertising SaaS, driving productised ML recommendations and infrastructure migrations that improved performance and reliability. Known for blending technical depth (Python, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Terraform) with strong business and financial acumen, he optimises cloud costs and aligns engineering strategy to growth. Based in Sheffield and balancing life as a dad, he brings a pragmatic, measurement-driven approach—"measure, optimise, loop"—to mentoring distributed teams and shipping production-grade automation. His background ranges from early startups and agency work to leading platform-level observability and SRE practices, making him comfortable translating complex requirements into operational systems.
