Top SchoolAltan Ozlu is a software engineer with 12 years of experience specializing in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and performance optimization, currently contributing at Adyen. He excels in Rust, Java, Python, and Go, and has designed, deployed, and maintained production systems across GCP and AWS while optimizing costs and observability with Prometheus, Tempo, and InfluxDB. As co-founder and former backend lead at makromusic, he architected scalable services, CI/CD pipelines, and managed databases like PostgreSQL, Scylla, CockroachDB and MongoDB. He also built and operated a high-traffic multiplayer game backend serving 20k daily users, creating a Lua sandbox to enable a 60-person volunteer developer community. Curious and hands-on, Altan combines low-level performance thinking with pragmatic infrastructure decisions and a clear preference for building in Rust.
