Summary
👤
SeniorÁlvaro Martín is a seasoned technology leader and co-founder serving as CTO at Pulsar Games, with a decade of professional experience and over 20 years of hands-on engineering roots. He has repeatedly led technical teams and engine-level initiatives across Europe and Latin America, including roles as Technical Director at King and Studio Technical Director at Wildlife Studios, and has shipped advanced systems such as massive instanced skeletal animation for 50k units and procedural map generation. Comfortable at the intersection of research and product, he combines low-level graphics and engine expertise (deferred rendering, PBR, HDR) with startup-scale engineering and tooling. Based in Dubai, he brings a global perspective from projects spanning Spain, Austria, Slovenia, Brazil and the UAE, and is known for turning complex real-time problems into scalable, production-ready solutions. An uncommon trait: he pairs deep graphics/engine craftsmanship with practical content pipeline and tooling experience, enabling both high performance and rapid iteration.
