Top SchoolAlvin Chou is a web developer based in Metro Vancouver with 11 years of experience building accessible, user-focused web interfaces and full-stack solutions. He blends front-end craftsmanship in HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery with back-end work in Node.js, Python and Ruby on Rails, having shipped products for agencies and hardware-focused teams. At Tinkerine he bridged UI work and middleware that interfaced with 3D printer hardware, and at Glass Canvas he contributed to client-facing digital experiences as a full-stack developer. Currently at Focus on the Family Canada, he brings collaborative problem-solving and a research-driven approach to team projects. Alvin’s background in technical web design and hands-on version control practices means he’s comfortable translating designer mock-ups into robust, maintainable code. He keeps a portfolio of work at https://alvinkchou.com that demonstrates his focus on intuitive, accessible interfaces.
