Top SchoolAmadeus Stevenson is a seasoned engineering leader and VP of Forward Deployed Engineering with a 15+ year career spanning product, data and cloud engineering across healthcare, education and government. He combines hands-on technical depth—from Azure Synapse and PySpark pipelines to PyTorch/TensorFlow model assurance and DevOps best practice—with strategic leadership roles including CTO and Global Head of Product at Decoded. At NHSX and the NHS AI Lab he led technical assurance and information governance for AI in health, while at Outcomes Based Healthcare he delivered national-scale data platforms for the NHS. Known for translating research-grade rigour (DPhil in Biological Physics, published in Nature Nanotechnology) into production systems, he’s as comfortable mentoring teams and shaping product roadmaps as he is debugging complex dataflows. Based in York, he brings a rare mix of academic discipline, startup-scale growth experience and practical cloud/automation engineering to solve regulated, mission-critical problems.
