Top SchoolAmar A is a pragmatic technology leader and co-founder with 11 years of experience building and operating resilient, data-driven infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, and consumer AI products. As CTO of DuranAI and previous technical lead roles at Hopper, GitLab, Twitter and Amazon, he has repeatedly solved large-scale reliability and migration challenges—everything from GitHub/GitHub Actions migrations and on-prem to cloud ML deployments to building an in-house FeatureStore and production-grade RAG/TTS systems. He favors automation-first, customer-obsessed approaches and has a knack for turning operational pain points into productized solutions and repeatable frameworks. Comfortable both coding and leading, he has hired and coordinated distributed teams and contractors to ship fast with minimal funding, scaling products to hundreds of thousands of users. Notably, he helped train the first high-quality Mongolian TTS model and blends SRE rigor with product-led thinking as he transitions into formal management in the Infra/SRE/DevOps space.
