Top SchoolAmer Mufti is a seasoned software engineer with over three decades of experience building high-performance C/C++ systems for Wall Street titans and modern full-stack JavaScript applications for cloud and fintech startups. He blends low-level expertise—network stack tuning, ffmpeg media streaming, and algorithmic C optimizations—with Node.js/React front ends and robust database design informed by classical relational theory. Transitioning from real-time trading engines to blockchain protocols, video streaming, and AI-dataset pipelines, he repeatedly focuses on squeezing production performance out of constrained environments. As an Upwork freelancer and former founder of a backend-as-a-service, he pairs hands-on coding with product-minded APIs and integrations to accelerate delivery for entrepreneurs. Based in Salem, Oregon, Amer’s uncommon combination of legacy systems experience and modern web/IoT tooling lets him recompose the right data store—SQL, NoSQL, or graph—for each problem. He’s equally at home multithreading Monte Carlo risk engines or compressing video for low-powered mobiles, a practicality that keeps prototypes production-ready.
