Senior🎓
Top SchoolAmin Bashiri is a Senior Software Engineer with eight years of experience building high-throughput, cloud-native systems and leading engineering teams across North America and Iran. He has driven substantial performance gains—halving latency and achieving 10x indexing improvements—through backend redesigns, event-driven architectures, and distributed task handlers using gRPC, Pub/Sub, and Terraform on GCP. Comfortable across the stack, Amin has shipped payment and Zapier integrations, custom domain platforms, and migrated large on‑prem databases to the cloud, demonstrating both rapid learning and operational ownership. A mentor and on-call owner, he blends hands-on coding in Python, Go, and frontend stacks with architecture and project leadership, and is currently contributing to Lyft’s engineering efforts from Toronto. An understated strength is his track record of converting research on databases into pragmatic production improvements that scale user-facing platforms.
