Top SchoolAmin Fadaee is a Senior Data Engineer based in Utrecht with a decade of hands-on experience building backend systems, data platforms, and scalable pipelines across startups and enterprise teams. He combines deep data engineering expertise—accelerating ETL jobs from hours to minutes and designing Databricks-centric greenfield platforms on AWS—with practical backend skills in Kotlin, Ruby, TypeScript and Terraform. As a former team lead, he has scaled teams and processes, introduced agile product management, and shaped hiring for engineering orgs. He routinely authors Architecture Decision Records to guide trade-offs and balances platform-level thinking with day-to-day delivery. Known for pragmatic optimizations (e.g., 20x query speedups and 4x broker efficiency improvements), he brings both performance-first engineering and mentorship to cross-functional projects.
