Top SchoolAmir Aghaei is a Staff AI Engineer in San Diego with 13 years of experience bridging academic quantum physics and production-scale data science. He holds a PhD in quantum physics and built deep expertise in tensor network methods, mathematical modeling, optimization, and algorithms before transitioning to applied ML and data architecture roles at VideoAmp and now Johnson Law Group. Amir has a proven track record advancing data science from intern to architect-level responsibilities, shipping scalable analytics and ML systems for advertising and enterprise use cases. He combines rigorous research instincts with pragmatic engineering—able to translate complex theoretical tools into robust, production-ready solutions. A less obvious strength is his fluency in quantum computational techniques, which informs novel approaches to optimization and model design in classical ML settings.
