Top SchoolAmit Khandelwal is a Senior Lead Engineer with 9 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale big data platforms and ETL solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. He has deep expertise in Hadoop/Spark ecosystems, streaming technologies like Kafka, orchestration with Airflow, and cloud-native data services on GCP and Azure, having built Data Lake as a Service and production data pipelines. At Nagarro he contributed to core platform components—IAM, custom roles, billing exports and pipeline base builds—and now leads engineering at kipi.ai, applying that foundation to product-focused data systems. Amit combines platform architecture skills with practical implementation experience (Spark, Sqoop, HBase, Hive, Impala) and a history of prototyping real-time IoT and fraud-detection POCs. Beyond core engineering he has mentored students, authored hundreds of algorithm problems for GeeksforGeeks, and built end-to-end solutions like a speech-to-text video indexing system—evidence of a pragmatic engineer who bridges research, teaching, and production delivery.
