Senior🎓
Top SchoolAmit Saurav is a staff-level software engineer with 12 years of experience building high-throughput, resilient systems across startups and hyperscale companies. He has led major rewrites and platform launches—from Snapchat’s messaging backend handling billions of daily messages to Amazon product page performance and the Treasure Truck retail experience—earning multiple patents in large-scale data handling and web performance. More recently he co-founded Catio to architect service meshes and vector DBs for agentic AI, then drove Maven Clinic’s unified messaging and AI orchestration platform while evangelizing AI efficiency across engineering teams. He combines deep systems and networking expertise (L2/L3 observability) with a product-minded approach to distributed APIs and storage services. Based in Sammamish, WA, Amit blends startup founder instincts with enterprise-grade execution and continues to advise early-stage teams while contributing to cloud-scale storage APIs at Google Cloud. An unexpected throughline: he repeatedly converts research-level ideas into production products, from accessibility browser work early in his career to today's agentic AI infra.
