Top SchoolAmo Chohan is a hands-on engineering leader and Director of Engineering based in London with over a decade of experience building and scaling cross-functional teams for global consumer products and data platforms. He has led large organizations at Amazon and Snap, delivering Prime Video across living-room devices and transforming mobile-first products into multi-platform web suites while growing teams and improving release predictability. Comfortable from board-level strategy to code, he blends TDD/BDD discipline and full-stack fluency (Go, Python, Node, C++, React/Vue/Angular, AWS) to drive high-velocity delivery and operational resilience. He has repeatedly built engineering orgs from the ground up—setting hiring practices, career frameworks, and recruitment loops—and reduced costs through vendor negotiation and platform consolidation. A frequent conference speaker and TDD evangelist, Amo pairs mentoring and performance management with a bias for action and customer obsession. An unusual strength is his track record of shipping both enterprise-scale data platforms and consumer-facing streaming experiences across diverse international markets.
