Top SchoolAmod Agrawal is a Software Engineer II with 11 years of experience, currently advancing RF and wireless sensing for smart-home products at Amazon Lab126. He blends systems and research expertise—rooted in an MS from UIUC and research roles—to build Device OS features and spatially-aware Bluetooth, BLE, UWB and AoX solutions for Alexa-enabled devices. His background spans cloud-backed prototype tracking services, actor-model FSMs in Akka, and applied research in mobile computing and localization, enabling him to move ideas from papers to production. Notably, he has bridged academic research and industry deployments multiple times, including publishable work at IIIT-Delhi and production-grade prototypes at Microsoft Research and Lab126. Based in Champaign, IL, he brings a rare mix of wireless signal insight and scalable engineering practice to consumer-device sensing problems.
