Specialist, Application Developer

Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAmos Wong is a specialist application developer with 11 years focused on front-end web development and a strong command of JavaScript and modern toolchains (TypeScript, Vue/Nuxt, React, Webpack, Vite). Currently at DBS Bank after several impactful years building Viddsee’s web products, he has delivered server-driven UI frameworks, a VueJS pre-rendering toolchain for Rails, and a reusable Storybook component library. He pairs practical engineering with UX sensibility—sketching wireframes, applying heuristics, and proposing alternative flows to improve product usability. Comfortable with backend-adjacent concerns like Node.js, Docker, SSL and basic Linux ops, he frequently bridges design and engineering to ship polished, performant interfaces. Based in Singapore, he’s quietly pragmatic: “I write JavaScript” sums up a developer who prefers solving problems and building tooling that scales across teams.
