Top SchoolAmy Bearman is a founder and seasoned engineering leader with 11 years building production AI and embedded systems, now launching a stealth AI+productivity startup in Redwood City. At Meta she led large teams across GenAI, Smart Glasses, and Ads, shipping the company’s first GenAI product to four apps and driving hundreds of millions in incremental ad revenue. She has deep expertise in on-device tiny models and latency/energy-optimized systems—once saving 90% energy by dynamically selecting sensor/model ensembles—and has shipped real-world features for smart glasses and multimodal AR/VR. Prior experience at Mythic and Stanford blends research-grade publications and high-impact product engineering, reflecting a rare mix of academic rigor and delivery at scale. Colleagues would point to her ability to invent novel model-deployment techniques and take them from prototype to org-level investment and production.
