Top SchoolAmy Glass is a veteran UX leader with over 25 years crafting user-centered experiences across on-premise and cloud software, most recently retiring from Red Hat after leading UX for the Application Services portfolio. She combines hands-on research and interaction design with program-level leadership—building teams, establishing design frameworks, and championing accessibility and usability across large R&D organizations. Her career spans deep product work at SAS, where she led cloud UI initiatives and early AWS releases, to driving cross-functional alignment that turned quick proofs of concept into field-ready solutions. Known for calm, organized program management under pressure, she has repeatedly been credited with saving projects and earning strong stakeholder trust. Based in Durham, NC, she brings a rare blend of technical empathy, people management, and a disciplined approach to integrating UX into complex enterprise software lifecycles.
