Top SchoolAna Areias is an LLM engineer and data scientist with 12 years of experience applying machine learning, deep learning and graph analytics to development challenges and high-dimensional enterprise data. Currently on the World Bank Impact AI team, she designs LLM-driven solutions for development use cases and previously combined graph-tech and deep models at Kineviz to surface needle-in-haystack insights via browser-based visual analytics. Her background includes large-scale poverty nowcasting, labor-market forecasting and rigorous field survey work, supported by an MPA-ID from Harvard and selective data science training at The Data Incubator. Comfortable moving between code, visualization and field implementation, she excels at turning unconventional, “data-izable” signals into actionable predictions that improve policy and human well-being. Off the clock she chases waves as an avid surfer and admits to being a stubbornly improving billiards player.
