Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAna Bastos is a senior software engineer based in São Paulo with 11 years of experience designing and operating distributed, microservices-driven backends for fintech and SaaS products. She has shipped production systems in languages and stacks including Clojure, Golang, Elixir/Phoenix and Flutter, and has led efforts to scale terabyte-scale data pipelines and payment features used by over a million users. Comfortable moving between backend, mobile and infra concerns, she pairs pragmatic TDD and observability practices (Splunk, Grafana) with hands-on database tuning across PostgreSQL, CockroachDB and DynamoDB. A frequent collaborator in cross-functional teams, Ana also drives hiring and onboarding with attention to diversity, and is pursuing postgraduate teaching credentials to formalize her mentorship and education work. A lover of quirky details (her GitHub bio hints at a playful side), she blends technical depth with clear product focus to turn complex requirements into reliable, maintainable systems.
