Senior🎓
Top SchoolAnders Nickelsen is a software engineer and engineering leader with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable data platforms, pipelines, and production systems. He blends hands-on engineering in Scala, Kotlin, and platform tooling with a player-coach leadership style, having led cross-functional teams that built data meshes, internal developer platforms, and immutable infrastructure. Anders has strong SRE and CI/CD chops—running Kubernetes with ArgoCD, observability, and automation to keep terabytes-per-day workloads reliable and efficient. He applies AI agents pragmatically to accelerate product development and automate operations, and has deep experience with time-series forecasting, optimization, and high-dimensional datasets. Notably, he began many projects as the sole engineer—rapidly prototyping platforms and hiring teams to scale them—so he balances rapid delivery with long-term architectural rigor. Based in Copenhagen, he brings an academic rigor from a PhD background to practical, value-driven engineering.
