Top SchoolAnderson Faro is a subsea engineering leader with more than two decades of hands-on experience designing, industrializing and delivering X-mas trees and HPHT systems for major operators including Petrobras, Shell, Chevron and Total. He has led multidisciplinary teams of up to 50 engineers through full project lifecycles—from concept and prototyping to manufacturing, FAT and offshore commissioning—on high-stakes deepwater developments like Búzios 6–9 and GLL series. Known for pairing technical depth with on-the-ground execution, he drives supplier collaboration, failure analysis and process industrialization to improve reliability and reduce costs. As Engineering Manager at TechnipFMC he led a Petrobras cost-reduction initiative that achieved up to 30% savings on key subsea components and supported winning the G23 contract. He applies Lean tools (A3, VSM, Kaizen, Obeya) to scale repeatable engineering and manufacturing practices and to sustain competitive advantage. Based in Rio de Janeiro, he now leads WEB Nordeste’s subsea engineering strategy, blending product development with large-scale production and field performance accountability.
