Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndré Kolell is a seasoned technology leader with over a decade of experience building and operating large-scale, real-time commerce systems as Tech Director at SCAYLE and formerly at ABOUT YOU. He has repeatedly led cross-functional teams—engineering, DevOps, BI, UI/UX and product—to migrate monoliths to service-oriented architectures and run mission-critical SaaS platforms for merchants, warehouses, and orders at scale. His background spans startups and enterprise, including CTO roles at funded e‑commerce and fintech businesses where he set up agile organizations and managed multi-million dollar budgets. Known for combining hands-on technical judgment with strong organizational design, he’s delivered both product turnaround (FINANZCHECK.de) and rapid growth engineering for Rocket Internet-backed ventures. Based in Hamburg, he pairs academic grounding in business informatics and international management with practical experience in online advertising and retail IT. A detail that often surprises peers: he’s equally comfortable leading strategic budget decisions and debating low-level deployment patterns in the same meeting.
