Top SchoolAndre Stackhouse is a Seattle-based full-stack engineer and writer with 11 years of experience applying technology to improve human well-being. Trained in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Washington, he blends research, design, and front-end engineering to build thoughtful user experiences and internal automation tools. His work ranges from building a high-scale, componentized email templating system at Microsoft to front-end UX features at Code.org and migrating legacy systems to modern Node.js stacks. Beyond engineering, Andre co-founded and led civic organizations focused on healthcare access and now contributes as a writer and cooperative owner, showing a consistent thread of mission-driven projects. He’s open to full-time, contract, or consulting roles and brings a rare mix of technical depth, product sensibility, and nonprofit leadership. Unexpectedly, his background in student journalism and cooperative ownership informs a clear, audience-first approach to technical communication and product decisions.
