Top SchoolAndre Westerlund is a full-stack developer with nine years of hands-on experience building production software across startups and telecoms, currently developing Aotearoa’s fully-sovereign language AI products Kaituhi and Papa Reo at Te Hiku Media. He moves comfortably from TypeScript and React/Next.js frontends to Python/Django backends and Postgres, and has practical DevOps experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Previously he delivered Salesforce Marketing Cloud automations and personalised journeys for SLEEQ and shipped a suite of internal tools at Vodafone Samoa that became daily operational fixtures. Andre founded Samoa Code Hub and has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, blending community-focused initiative with formal training.
