Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrea Boni is a senior engineering manager with two decades of experience leading geographically distributed teams and building latency-critical, large-scale distributed systems that deliver business advantage. He has a track record of driving transformative reengineering initiatives—at ION he architected core proprietary low-latency middleware and cut ownership costs dramatically, and at AWS he led automation of network capacity planning, reaching 70% automation and halving planning effort. Comfortable at the intersection of architecture, process reengineering and Agile scaling (including LeSS), he builds technical leadership and repeatable delivery practices across Europe and North America. A mathematician by training, Andrea combines rigorous analytical thinking with hands-on systems design to solve complex operational problems. He’s as focused on measurable business outcomes as on cultivating engineering craft, and often finds leverage in automating tedious planning and supply-chain tasks to unlock rapid growth.
