Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAndrea Cappelletti is a software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building scalable cloud-native systems and leading engineering teams across startups, academia, and Microsoft. He blends practical backend and infrastructure expertise—Golang, Terraform, AWS/Azure multi-cloud architectures, GCP and ML model deployment—with a research mindset from NSF-funded work on distributed application synthesis and FPGA accelerators. At Circuit he built multi-region, billion-record-ready systems and payment platforms; at Microsoft he focuses on datacenter power efficiency and disaster recovery to further sustainability goals. A double MSc student at Politecnico di Milano and UIC (and incoming PhD), he pairs entrepreneurial instincts—top 10% in Y Combinator cohort—to strong mentorship and operational discipline, authoring SOPs and run-books that scale team impact. Quietly, he balances technical breadth with interpersonal study in communication and coaching, turning technical potential into productive teams.
