Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrea Vouk is a software engineer with 9 years of hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native and on-premises systems, specializing in Kubernetes deployments for both SaaS and heavily regulated, air-gapped environments. At SAET I.S. he has led large rewrites—modernizing a SaaS product, overhauling authentication to meet OWASP standards, and migrating IoT platforms from XMPP to MQTT while scaling to hundreds of thousands of devices. He blends backend microservice development (Python, Java/Quarkus, TypeScript) with SRE practices, automation (Packer, Ansible) and Kafka-based event pipelines to deliver fault-tolerant, observable systems. Outside work he explores database internals, cybersecurity integrations and embedded IoT projects on GitHub, bringing that curiosity back to pragmatic architecture and reliability improvements. Based in Piedmont, Italy, he thrives on solving constrained deployment challenges and translating complex customer requirements into documented, maintainable solutions.
