Senior🎓
Top SchoolAndrea Zanoni is an Optical Components Engineer and PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano with a decade of experience bridging academic quantum sensing and industrial photonics. He specializes in femtosecond laser writing and the miniaturization of optically pumped magnetometers, having finalized sensor fabrication and characterization workflows during a visiting research stint at ICFO. Andrea balances deep experimental skills—cell filling, sealing, spectroscopy and zero-field resonance measurements—with data analysis (Python) and a background in machine learning and RPA from EY. His work includes peer-reviewed publications on novel quantum sensor fabrication and a strong record of international research experience, including Keio University in Tokyo. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on experimentalist who also brings systems-thinking from industry into sensor engineering.
